    JAMB 2019 Sales Of UTME/DE Form Begins – See Registration & Exam Details

    1.0 The JAMB registration for 2019 UTME / DE has officially started. 


    The registration starts on January 10, 2019 and ends on February 21, 2019. The exam starts on March 16 and ends on March 23, 2019. All potential candidates are advised to go through this information because it contains all information about the JAMB 2019 registration. and exam.

    2.0 SALES / REGISTRATION PERIOD

    2.1 The period of sales / registration for all candidates (UTME / DE) including those from foreign countries is from 10 January 2019 to 21 February 2019.

    3.0 GENERAL IMPORT REQUIREMENTS

    3.1 The general admission requirements for admission to the first degree, the national diploma (ND), the national innovation diploma (NID) and the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programs are five (5) credit cards for O'Level, including English. Details are available in the eBrochure that would be given to each candidate in the CBT centers and state offices accredited by the JAMB. It is also available for download on www.jamb.gov.ng and on the Android Mobile App (JAMB IBASS) in the Google Play Store.

    DO NOT GIVE YOUR PASSWORD to a center (or Cyber ​​Café). Each center that requests more than your profile code, e-mail address and registration number is a fraud. Do not give a password.

    3.2 DIRECT ACCESS

    Candidates with one of the following qualifications may qualify for admission via direct entry:
    (a) At least one O'Level credit card in five (5) SSCE courses with a maximum of two sessions with at least two prescribed courses [for each program (study period)] at the level of the principal or advanced students.
    (b) Two passes (in prescribed courses for each course) at the Advanced-Level Examination of IJMB, Cambridge, JUPEB or Institute of Baccalaureate with SSCE / GCE, NTS / NBC credits equivalents in three other courses
    (c) succeeds in two main subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E., NTC / NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other courses (mainly for education courses) and ND.
    (d) Minimum lower credit level in national diploma or national innovation diploma and O'Level requirements

    • THE CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR JAMB REGISTRATION FIGURES, THAT HAVE REACHED ACCESS TO NCE / NID / DIPLOMA AND PRIOR PARTIAL PROGRAMS.
    • QUALIFICATIONS GRANTED BY RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS (IJMB, CAMBRIDGE, WAEC, JUPEB, etc.) APPROVED BY NIGERIA DO NOT NEED A PREVIOUS JAM BUMBER.

    3.3 CANDIDATES ARE NOT AT THE SAME TIME WITH UTME AND DE. IF THEY ARE APPLICABLE BY MEANS OF UTME AND LATER TO GET THE QUALIFICATION, THEY CAN UPGRADE UP TO THE COST
    CAVEAT: Registration can only be done in the centers on our site (www.jamb.gov.ng) and pasted on JAMB offices in each capital of the state. Everyone who registers outside these centers does this at his / her risk.

    4.0 DECISION OF THE CHOICE OF THE INSTITUTIONS

    4.1 Each candidate must note that the 1st choice can be a college of educational institutions, a university, a school or a police academy, a technical faculty, a Nigerian defense academy or a police academy.

    5.0 STEPS FOR 2019 REGISTRATION

    A. PROFILE REGISTRATION

    I. One Cell (mobile) number (SIM) can only be used by one candidate. The mobile phone number used for the SMS message is automatically linked to the name of the candidate and will be used in all communications relating to his / her 2019 application, research / admission. RECORD THE SIM NUMBER USED. IT IS OF MOST IMPORTANCE FOR LATER COMMUNICATION

    ii. Candidate sends his / her name [Surname First Name (if present)] by SMS to 55019. This must be a maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces between names = 40 characters in total to 55019, for example Tinubu Adamu Odumegwu.
    Surname and first name are required

    iii. A profile code of 10 characters is received by the candidate at the same phone number (SIM)

    iv. Candidate presents the profile code to the point of purchase of form (banks, MMOs, MFAs, switches, USSD partners). The form ePIN is then sent to the candidate as a text message

    v. Candidate presents the ePIN at each JAMB accredited CBT center for registration

    B. SELF-SERVICE IN CASE OF ERROR / LOSS OF PROFILE CODE

    I. To correct an error in the name of the candidate, send the [CORRECT First Name First Name First] to 55019 as an SMS message from the same mobile number

    ii. To retrieve a lost profile code, send [RESEND] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number
    iii. Candidate can reset lost or forgotten profile password on their registered mobile phone by sending [password] space [email address] to 55019 as an SMS message from the same mobile number

    C. (FREE COMPLAINT) TICKETING 


    For all complaints about JAMB processes, candidates can make a support ticket on (support.jamb.gov.ng) with his / her e-mail address registered on the site of the Board. The candidate then gives his / her name, telephone number and the nature of the problem, selects a complaint area in a drop-down list and summarizes the nature of the complaint. He / she can also attach supporting documents (if available) and then send them.
    NOTE THAT YOUR PASSWORD SHOULD NOT BE RELEASED TO ANYONE. JAMB CAN ONLY HELP AT PROFILE-PASSWORD, NOT E-MAIL-BOX-PASSWORD.     D. JAMB EPIN SALES POINTS

    viii. Bank ATMs listed in 5D (i) above (InterSwitch)
    ix. USSD (ERCAS) for mobile banking
    X. Nigerian embassies in Abidjan, Accra, Addis Ababa, Beau, Cotonou, Jeddah, Johannesburg and London

    E. TASKS OF PARTICIPATING BANKS / OUTLETS

    I. Collect the profile code of the candidate's phone
    ii. Collect the payment and sell ePIN by text message on the candidate's telephone (do not dictate or copy)
    iii. Facilitate POS payment, if necessary
    E. issue proof of payment
    F. Collect Center service costs, at the request of the CBT center
    G. ePIN must be delivered electronically to candidates and not be handwritten

    iii. PAYMENT BY MOBILE MONEY CONSUMERS
    This is available at CBT Centers and Other Outlets
    (a) Current profile code and cash payment
    (b) ePIN is then delivered to the unique telephone number of the candidate

    iv. PAYMENT WITH ATM
    This is available at all ATM stores of Participating banks listed in 5D (I) (Interswitch Channel)
    (a) Select Invoice payment and choose JAMB
    (b) Enter the profile code and pay
    (c) ePIN is then delivered to the unique telephone number of the candidate

    v. ONLINE PAYMENT ON JAMB PORTAL
    (a) Visit the JAMB website: www.jamb.gov.ng
    (b) Click on purchase of the application form 2019
    (c) Enter your Profle code
    (d) Select payment method (Interswitch, Remita, e-Transact, Uniform payment S o l u t i ns,
    Top link or Paga)
    (e) Execute payment
    (f) ePIN is then delivered to the unique telephone number of the candidate

    vi. PAYMENTS USING USSD (ERCAS)
    (a) Select * 565 * 6 * 55019 #
    (b) Enter the profile code
    (c) Select bank and follow the instructions to complete the payment
    (d) ePIN is then delivered to the unique telephone number of the candidate

    vii. The procedure for the eight foreign centers is only as follows:
    (a) Registration fee for candidates from the eight other countries
    $ 20 or the equivalent in each of the eight countries
    (b) Candidates from the eight other countries must download the Application from the website of the Board (www.jamb.gov.ng) and complete it with the costs in the eight designated centers as indicated on the website.

    G. HOW TO DELETE LOST ePIN AFTER PAYMENT

    I. If ePIN has not been received or lost, send [UTMEPIN] or [DEPIN] to 55019 for UTME or DE respectively of the unique number
    ii. The ePIN would then be retrieved and delivered to the candidate's unique number

    AFTER SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT AND OBTAINMENT OF ePIN, THE CANDIDATE MUST CONTINUE TO A JAMB ACCREDITED CBT CENTER TO COMPLETE ITS REGISTRATION

    H. REGISTRATION CENTERS

    I. Only the accredited Computer Based Test Centers and JAMB Offices are allowed to register candidates
    ii. Each candidate must visit an accredited CBT center (the list of approved centers can be found on our website (www.jamb.gov.ng), with his / her personal details, profile and proof of payment.

    I. REGISTRATION PROCESS AT CBT CENTERS:

    The candidate PERSONALLY presents the ePIN at each JAMB accredited CBT center for validation and completion of the registration. The name of the candidate as typed by the candidate on his / her phone when registering the profile automatically comes to the e-PIN entry by the CBT center
    Candidates must:
    I. Do NOT pay more than N700 as service costs to one of the accredited CBT centers (do not accept to leave your details for proxy registration, this will disqualify you)
    ii. Give biodata including date of birth, nationality, state of origin, local government, gender, e-mail address, telephone number, among others (it is waiting and get service)
    iii. Provide choice of institutions and programs (specialization)
    iv. Give qualification with numbers and dates, if not pending results
    v. Upload relevant certificates, if not awaiting results (this applies to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates)
    vi. O / L and / or A / L figures are provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting results must deliver the results online (CAPS) as soon as they are available on the JAMB portal. JAMB does not consider recommendations from an institution if the candidate has not uploaded his / her results to the JAMB portal
    vii. Provide JAMB registration number for previous institutional certificates for DE only
    viii. Indicate UTME topics and the choice of exam city (s)
    (a) Mock research (optional)
    (b) Research for UTME (actual research)
    ix. Has photo recording (no scan of passport photos)
    X. Have biometric registration (ten fingers)
    xi. Check the entries and confirm the correctness
    XII. Print registration slip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION to confirm valid fingerprints (UTME / DE). Note that authentication with your thumb removes errors from the CBT operators. Before confirming, check with your thumb.
    xiii. Collect, without additional costs, the reading text and CD
    XIV. Each Candidate must collect his / her e-slip at the end of the registration as proof of registration
    xv. There is no offline registration because all accredited CBT centers are competent for real-time online registration. No
    the candidate must register at each center other than the accredited CBT center and the JAMB state offices. Every candidate registered outside the approved centers is identified and disqualified

    J. BLIND CANDIDATES

    Candidates who are blind can indicate by typing BLIND and also choose the option to write their exam via the CBT mode or Reading research aloud


    K. DEAF / MUTE CANDIDATES

    A special indicator for the deaf / dumb is made to distinguish them for special attention in the research area. Deaf candidates must therefore confirm this during the registration in an appropriate manner.

    L. BIOMETRIC CHALLENGES

    I. Candidates with biometric challenges can only register at the head office of JAMB in Abuja.
    ii. No other CBT center can register such candidates
    iii. They will also sit for their research at the head office of JAMB in Abuja

    6.0 DATA AND LOCATION FOR A GENEAL TEMPORARY ASSESSMENT OF GLOSSARY

    6.1 The CBT EXAMS OF 2019 starts on Saturday, March 16 and ends on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Candidates preparing for the exam are advised to download the 2019 JAMB CBT software or the 2019 JAMB CBT mobile app to become familiar with the CBT environment and cover JAMB Past questions.

    6.2 The location of the exam is at each center in the exam city (s) chosen by the candidate

    JAMB DOES NOT SEND ANY CANDIDATE IN A RESEARCH HOUSE (OR GROUP CITIES) OTHER THAN THAT SELECTED BY THE CANDIDATE AT THE POINT OF REGISTRATION. CANDIDATES ARE HOWEVER GIVEN TO BE INFORMED BEFORE THE AVAILABLE SPACES HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED IN THEIR CITY OF CHOICE OR GROUP CITIES.

    7.0 REGISTRATION FEE / SUBSCRIPTION OF REGISTRATION EPINS

    7.1 Registration fee is three thousand five hundred (N3, 500) Naira Only. Extra five hundred (N500) Naira alone, is paid for Bolaji Abdullahi's "Sweet Sixteen" text for UTME candidates and "The Last Days at Forcados High School" by AH Mohammed for Candidates and $ 20 for candidates from the eight foreign candidates available centers

    7.2 A CD with JAMB eSyllabus, eBrochure and other vital materials is also provided free of charge

    7.3 Candidates must note that purchased ePINS are linked to an individual profile and are not transferable

    7.4 Candidates are advised to keep their security data such as registration numbers, password / numbers of ATM cards, e-mail addresses and ePINs so private and confidential. No center can apply for or accept a candidate's password.

    8.0 OPTIONAL MOCK EXAMINATION

    8.1 The Board will also conduct a test exam in all accredited CBT centers to prepare INTERESSE Candidates and to familiarize them with the CBT environment. Interested candidates are advised to indicate their interest in the test exam during registration, provided that this is done by 31 January 2019 at the latest.

    8.2 The date for MOCK research is Saturday, February 23, 2019.

    8.3 Non-JAMB CBT Centers may only collect a separate seven hundred Naira (₦ 700) through their bank accounts, for dummy exercises of interested candidate (s) only after the candidate / candidates have received the notification from the center. The payment for a test examination by the candidate is made in the center to which the candidate is assigned after the notification of assigned centers for the test exam. An association or organization is not allowed to perform any test exam on behalf of JAMB.

    DO NOT PAY FOR SOLUTION UNTIL JAMB ISSUING YOU TO A CBT CENTER. NO ONE WOULD BE FRAUDSTERS KNOWN. J A M B A C C R E D E E D C B T C E N T R E S C A N T A L I D D REGISTRATION AND SERVICE PROVISION AS EXAMINATION CENTERS

    9.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

    9.1 All candidates must make their profiles compulsory via SMS messages as illustrated above before they purchase the ePIN
    9.2 The registration fee can not be refunded
    9.3 As is the practice, centers may charge a maximum of seven hundred Naira (₦ 700) as registration costs. Each center that charges more than seven hundred Naira (₦ 700) must be reported to JAMB for appropriate sanctions

    9.4 All CBT centers are mandated to select one of the participating banks, MMOs, MFAs, etc. These financial institutions must be present at the CBT centers to collect all fees. No member of staff at the CBT center may conduct direct cash transactions with the candidates

    9.5 Candidates are advised to read and understand the guidelines on admission and instructions for completing the online registration before the registration process begins.

    9.6 Multiple registrations are not allowed. Candidates who register more than once are identified and disqualified

    9.7 Candidates must note that they must be present and take a live photo that will be printed in relief on their result receipts and admission letters. No scanned / stapled passport photos are allowed


    9.8 Candidates must note that, regardless of their choice of study, they are also tested against a general text: Sweet Sixteen by Bolaji Abdullahi for UTME and "The Last Days at Forcados High School" by A.H. Mohammed for Direct Entry Candidates
    9.9 Candidates / Officers should not enter the examination center with earphones, wrist watches, mobile phones, electronic devices or pen / biro. Only a normal pencil is allowed
    9.10 Candidates are warned that the Board does not require or authorize the services for accredited CBT centers for any other cybercafe or establishment.
