Marcos Alonso Urges Teammate To Stay With Chelsea As Callum Hudson-Odoi Sets For Move

Marcos Alonso has told Callum Hudson-Odoi that he will not find a bigger club than Chelsea.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is linked to a move of £ 35 million to Bayern Munich after finding it hard to get playing time at Stamford Bridge - although he has started the last two cup games, including the semi-final of the Carabao Cup defeat at Tottenham.

Although Bayern is considered one of the heavyweights of European football, Alonso feels Chelsea can match them if Hudson-Odoi is willing to be patient and wait for his chance.

"He is a good player, but he is very young," he said. "He has to be patient and hungry and fight for a place in this team.

"That's all he has to do, he has all the conditions to be a great player, now it's up to him to fight for a place here or to find more minutes somewhere else.

"Bayern Munich? We are Chelsea, another great team, the Premier League is the most competitive competition in the world, I do not know why someone would go to Bayern Munich.
